ACC Submissions
Step 1: Please review these documents.
Step 2: Read the procedures below carefully.
To ensure a consistent, fair, and manageable process for reviewing property improvement requests, the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) has established the following submission and review guidelines.
1. Monthly Submission Deadline
All ACC requests must be submitted on or before the 15th of each month to be considered during that month’s review cycle.
-
Submissions received after the 15th will automatically be deferred to the following month’s review cycle.
-
Example: A request submitted on May 16 will be reviewed in June, with a decision issued on July 1.
2. Review Timeline
The ACC will review all complete submissions after the monthly deadline.
-
Decisions will be issued on or before the 1st of the following month.
-
This structure allows the committee adequate time to thoughtfully review each request while balancing volunteer responsibilities.
3. Complete Submission Requirement
To be considered for review, all requests must include the required documentation outlined in the ACC submission checklist.
-
Incomplete submissions may be delayed until all required information is received.
-
The official ACC request form and checklist are available on the Community Documents page.
4. Communication Expectations
To streamline communication and ensure efficiency:
-
All correspondence should be submitted through the official ACC request process.
-
Once a complete application is received, applicants should expect a decision within the established timeline.
-
Excessive back-and-forth communication may delay processing and impact the committee’s ability to review all submissions fairly.
5. Volunteer-Based Committee
The ACC is composed of volunteer members who generously contribute their time to serve the community.
-
This structured process ensures sustainability and prevents burnout while maintaining timely and consistent decision-making.
-
Residents interested in contributing to the review process are encouraged to volunteer, provided they meet eligibility requirements.
6. Right to Modify Process
The Board and ACC reserve the right to adjust this process as needed to improve efficiency and better serve the community.
